Swonder Ice Arena is compromised of two regulation size arenas and a mezzanine fitness center, home to local skaters, hockey players, figure skaters and fitness enthusiasts. Practice ice will be available to purchase prior to competition (date TBD) and will be held at Swonder Ice Arena in Evansville, IN.

Below are some commonly asked questions regarding solely the Ford Center and their policies, for other information regarding specific event policies refer to other pages of this site.
Downtown Evansville features ample parking, including more than 1,200 spaces in City owned parking garages on Third St. and Sycamore St. Parking in the City-owned garages will be $7 during events at the Ford Center. Double Tree by Hilton, Fifth Third Bank and Old National also have parking garages Downtown. The DoubleTree Hotel parking garage will be available for parking during events and the cost is $20. Entry is on Locust Street and parking in this lot is $10. The lot behind the Civic Center contains more than 1,100 parking spaces, which will be free during events at the Ford Center. The med school parking lot entry is on Locust St. between 6th and 5th streets.
Ford Center is conveniently located only one block from the METS transfer terminal. Finding parking and getting to and from an event at the Ford Center in Downtown Evansville should not pose any undue problems for guests.
Yes, there is a clear bag policy.
Banners & Signs
Banners and signs are permitted providing they are in good taste, as deemed by building management. Signs must not be commercial in nature or utilize wood, metal or other types of objects for support. They must not be hung or fastened anywhere in the building or in any way that obstructs another guest’s view.
Container Policy
Cans, glass or plastic beverage containers, squeeze bottles and thermos bottles are not permitted in the Ford Center. No alcoholic beverages may be brought into the arena.
Umbrellas
Umbrellas of a reasonable size are permitted in the Ford Center.
Food & Beverage
At no time is outside food or beverages allowed to be brought inside the arena. Concession stands are located throughout the arena that sells various types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Guests will be required to show proper photo identification and proof of age when purchasing alcoholic beverages.

- No re-entry permitted. The Ford Center is a non-smoking facility.
Yes, food and beverage will be available to purchase during the event.
Animals are not permitted in the Ford Center, with the exception of trained service animals.
The Ford Center has an automated teller machines located within the arena. There is one located on the main concourse at Section 102.
The Ford Center has numerous baby changing stations in men’s, women’s, and family restrooms located throughout the arena. Bag/Purse Policy All bags and purses entering the Ford Center are subject to search prior to entering the arena. Backpacks and oversized bags are prohibited from the Ford Center. There are 10 family restrooms located on three levels of the arena. Most public restrooms have diaper changing stations located inside.
